Tappit Hoose's competition winners tell all!

We were delighted to welcome Robert and Elaine Hosie to Tappit Hoose last week, they were the lucky winners of a two night stay in our new fabulous self catering holiday cottage in Crail.

Elaine won the competition by suggesting a name for Tappit Hoose when it was still called Tapsalteerie, all the entries were put into a hat and Elaine won the draw.

We decided to change the name as Tapsalteerie is a bit of a mouthful and we didn't want people forgetting who we are! Tappit was chosen as we are on the ground floor and it was where the bread was origionally brought to cool from the upstairs bakery.

Elaine and Robert had a lovely time and here is what they had to say....

Tappit Hoose is delightful and we had a lovely time expoloring the area - can recommend a visit to the Kingsbarns Distillery - sampled the whisky and gin - can recommend the spiced gin (with ginger ale instead of tonic!)

We added to your collection of games in the house, we will be back!

Apparently Robert is a real jigsaw puzzle fan so he is looking forward to coming back to stay for a week so that he can do the new Crail Harbour 1000 piece puzzle I have just bought!
